Choose someone with the following qualities:

       1.  Someone that will motivate – extrovert.  Male trainers have 15% more                     endurance than women according to their genetics but, women train just               as hard because of our multitasking capabilities.

      2.  Discusses your BMI (body mass index) Height to Weight ratio

  1.  Discusses your MHR (maximum heart rate) figure (220) minus age
  1.  Makes inquiries about your future goals
  1.  Develops a work plan for you
  1.  Coaches you to maintain a food log
  1.  Discusses basic diet (to determine what meals are eaten and client water  intake)
  • Discuss diet only in specific if  trainer is a certified nutritionist or dietitian.
  • Can refer clients to Myplate.com which will have a listing of food charts, calories charts for healthy eating, and all the nutritional values of food.
